Rondo Freue dich, erlöste Schar - 1738 - St. John's Day
A dancing rondo movement (A-B-A-Bʼ-A) in 2/4, with a characteristic syncopated rhythm. Within a regular structure of 5 x 32 bars = 160, the refrain (A) is juxtaposed with the interlude (B) and a varied version of the same (Bʼ).
